Dua - Before Sleeping
اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
Allahumma Bismika amutu wa ahya
In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.
Dua - Waking Up
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilayhin-nushur
All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.
Dua - Entering Toilet
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-khubuthi wal-khaba'ith
O Allah, I seek refuge with You from all offensive and wicked things (evil spirits).
Dua - Leaving Toilet
غُفْرَانَكَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنِّي الْأَذٰى وَعَافَانِي
Ghufranaka Alhamdulillah illadhi adhhaba anni al-adha wa ‘aafaanee
I ask You (Allah) for forgiveness, All Praise be to Allah, who has taken away from me discomfort and granted me relief.
Dua - Before Eating
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ
Bismillah
In the name of Allah.
Dua - After Eating
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مُسْلِمِينَ
Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi at'amana wa saqana wa ja'alana muslimeen
Praise be to Allah Who has fed us and given us drink and made us Muslims.
Dua - After Wudu / Showering
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
Ashhadu an la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa Rasuluhu
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, without any partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.
Dua - Leaving House
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Bismillahi tawakkaltu 'alallahi, la hawla wala quwwata illa billah
In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.
Dua - Entering House
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا، وَبِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَرَجْنَا، وَعَلَى رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا
Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'ala Rabbina tawakkalna
In the name of Allah we enter, in the name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we rely.
Dua - After Adhaan
اَللّٰھُمَّ رَبَّ ھٰذِہِ الدَّعْوَۃِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلَاۃِ الْقَائِمَةِ اٰتِ مُحَمَّدَنِ الْوَسِيلَةَ وَ الْفَضِيلَةَ وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَّحْمُوْدَنِ الَّذِیْ وَعَدْتَّهُ اِنَّکَ لَاتُخْلِفُ الْمِیْعَادَ
Allahumma rabba hazihid da’watit tammah, wassalatil qa’imah, ati muhammadanil waseelata, wal fadheelata, wab’ath-hu maqamam mahmoodanil lazee wa’adtahu innaka latukhliful mee’ad.
O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and everlasting prayer, Grant Muhammad ﷺ the intercession and the virtue, and raise him to the praised position which You have promised him. Verily, You do not go against Your promise.
Dua - For parents
رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
Rabbi irhamhuma kama rabbayani sagheera.
My lord! Be merciful to them as they raised me when I was young.
Dua - When In Pain
أَعُوذُ باللّٰهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مَنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ
A’udhu billahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhadhiru.
I begin in the name of Allah, I seek protection in Allah with His power from the evil of what I feel or fear.
Dua - For Safety From Calamities
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Bismillaa-hil-lazi Laa Ya-dhurru Ma’as-mihi Shay-un Fil Ardhi Walaa Fis-Samaa-i Wahuwas-samee-‘ul-‘ Aleem.
In the Name of Allah, Who with His Name nothing can cause harm in the earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Dua - When Facing Any Loss
إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُوْنَ، اَللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِيْ فِيْ مُصِيْبَتِيْ وَأَخْلِفْ لِيْ خَيْرًا مِنْهَا
Innaa lillaahi wa ‘innaa ‘ilayhi raaji’oon, Allaahumma’-jurni fee museebatee wa ‘akhliflee khayran minhaa.
To Allah we belong and unto Him is our return. O Allah, recompense me for my affliction and replace it for me with something better.
Dua - For The Best Here & Hereafter
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil ‘akhirati hasanatan waqina ‘adhaban-nar.
Our Lord, give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Rabbana 1 (Surah Baqarah - 127)
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Rabbana taqabbal minna innaka antas-samee'ul-aleem
Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the All-Hearing, the All-knowing.
Rabbana 2 (Surah Baqarah - 128)
رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُسْلِمَةً لَكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
Rabbana wa-j'alna muslimayni laka wa min dhurriyyatina ummatan muslimatan laka wa arina manasikana wa tub 'alayna innaka antat-tawwabur-raheem
Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites [of worship] and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of Repentance, the most Merciful.
Rabbana 3 (Surah Baqarah - 201)
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil 'akhirati hasanatan waqina 'adhaban-nar
Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!
Rabbana 4 (Surah Baqarah - 250)
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Rabbana afrigh 'alayna sabran wa thabbit aqdamana wansurna 'alal-qawmil-kafireen
Our Lord! Bestow on us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over those who reject faith.
Rabbana 5 (Surah Baqarah - 286)
رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا
Rabbana la tu'akhidhna in-naseena aw akhta'na
Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error.
Rabbana 6 (Surah Baqarah - 286)
رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا
Rabbana wala tahmil 'alayna isran kama hamaltahu 'alal-ladheena min qablina
Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us.
Rabbana 7 (Surah Baqarah - 286)
رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۚ أَنْتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Rabbana wala tuhammilna ma la taqata lana bihi wa'fu 'anna waghfir lana warhamna anta mawlana fansurna 'alal-qawmil-kafireen
Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over those who stand against faith.
Rabbana 8 (Surah Ali 'Imran - 8)
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Rabbana la tuzigh qulubana ba'da idh hadaytana wa hab lana milladunka rahmatan innaka antal Wahhab
Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
Rabbana 9 (Surah Ali 'Imran - 9)
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
Rabbana innaka jami'un-nasi li-yawmil la rayba feehi innallaha la yukhliful mee'ad
Our Lord, surely You will gather the people for a Day about which there is no doubt. Indeed, Allah does not fail in His promise.
Rabbana 10 (Surah Ali 'Imran - 16)
رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana innana amanna faghfir lana dhunubana wa qina 'adhaban-nar
Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Rabbana 11 (Surah Ali 'Imran - 53)
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
Rabbana amanna bima anzalta wattaba'nar-Rasula faktubna ma'ash-shahideen
Our Lord! We believe in what you revealed and have followed the Messenger; then write us down among those who bear witness.
Rabbana 12 (Surah Ali 'Imran - 147)
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Rabbana-ghfir lana dhunubana wa israfana fee amrina wa thabbit aqdamana wansurna 'alal qawmil kafireen
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and anything we may have done that transgressed our duty: Establish our feet firmly, and give us victory over those that resist Faith.
Rabbana 13 (Surah Ali 'Imran - 191)
رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana ma khalaqta hadha batila subhanaka faqina 'adhaban-nar
Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Rabbana 14 (Surah Ali 'Imran - 192)
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَنْ تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنْصَارٍ
Rabbana innaka man tudkhilin-nara faqad akhzaytahu wa ma lizzalimeena min ansar
Our Lord, indeed whoever You admit to the Fire – You have disgraced him, and for the wrongdoers there are no helpers.
Rabbana 15 (Surah Ali 'Imran - 193)
رَّبَّنَآ إِنَّنَا سَمِعۡنَا مُنَادِيٗا يُنَادِي لِلۡإِيمَٰنِ أَنۡ ءَامِنُواْ بِرَبِّكُمۡ فَـَٔامَنَّاۚ
Rabbanaaa innanaa sami’naa munaadiyai yunaadee lil eemaani an aaminoo bi Rabbikum fa aamannaa
Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller, calling to faith, [saying], ‘Believe in your Lord,’ and we have believed.
Rabbana 16 (Surah Ali 'Imran - 193)
رَبَّنَا فَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرۡ عَنَّا سَيِّـَٔاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارِ
Rabbanaa faghfir lanaa zunoobanaa wa kaffir ‘annaa saiyi aatina wa tawaffanaa ma’al abraar
Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die among the righteous.
Rabbana 17 (Surah Ali 'Imran - 194)
رَبَّنَا وَءَاتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۗ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ ٱلْمِيعَادَ
Rabbanaa wa aatinaa maa wa’attanaa ‘alaa Rusulika wa laa tukhzinaa Yawmal Qiyaamah; innaka laa tukhliful mee’aad
Our Lord, and grant us what You promised us through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in [Your] promise.
Rabbana 18 (Surah Al-Ma'idah - 83)
رَبَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا فَٱكْتُبْنَا مَعَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ
Rabbanaaa aamannaa faktubnaa ma’ash shaahideen
Our Lord, we have believed, so register us among the witnesses.
Rabbana 19 (Surah Al-Ma'idah - 114)
رَبَّنَا أَنْزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَائِدَةً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيدًا لِأَوَّلِنَا وَآخِرِنَا وَآيَةً مِنْكَ ۖ وَارْزُقْنَا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ
Rabbana anzil 'alayna ma'idatam minas-sama'i takunu lana 'idan li-awwalina wa akhirina wa ayatan minka warzuqna wa anta khayrur-raziqeen
O Allah, our Lord, send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven to be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the best of providers.
Rabbana 20 (Surah Al-A'raf - 23)
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Rabbana thalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfir lana watarhamna lanakunanna minal-khasireen
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
Rabbana 21 (Surah Al-A'raf - 47)
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
Rabbana la taj'alna ma'al qawmith-thalimeen
Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people.
Rabbana 22 (Surah Al-A'raf - 89)
رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ
Rabbana-ftah baynana wa bayna qawmina bil-haqqi wa anta khayrul-fatihheen
Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who give decision.
Rabbana 23 (Surah Al-A'raf - 126)
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ
Rabbana afrigh 'alayna sabran wa tawaffana muslimeen
Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims [in submission to You].
Rabbana 24 (Surah Yunus - 85,86)
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجۡعَلۡنَا فِتۡنَةٗ لِّلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ; وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحۡمَتِكَ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
85. Rabbana la taj’alna fitnatal lil-qawmidh-Dhalimeen ; 86. wa najjina bi- Rahmatika minal qawmil kafireen
Our Lord, make us not [objects of] trial for the wrongdoing people. And save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people.
Rabbana 25 (Surah Ibrahim - 38)
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِي وَمَا نُعْلِنُ ۗ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ
Rabbana innaka ta'lamu ma nukhfee wa ma nu'linu wa ma yakhfa 'alallahi min shay'in fil-ardi wala fis-sama'
Our Lord, indeed You know what we conceal and what we declare, and nothing is hidden from Allah on the earth or in the heaven.
Rabbana 26 (Surah Ibrahim - 40)
رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ
Rabbij-'alnee muqeemas-salati wa min dhurriyyatee Rabbana wa taqabbal du'a'
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.
Rabbana 27 (Surah Ibrahim - 41)
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
Rabbanagh-fir lee wali-walidayya walil-mu'mineena yawma yaqumul-hisab
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.
Rabbana 28 (Surah Al-Kahf - 10)
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
Rabbana atina milladunka rahmatan wa hayyi' lana min amrina rashada
Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance.
Rabbana 29 (Surah Ta-Ha - 45)
رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا نَخَافُ أَنْ يَفْرُطَ عَلَيْنَا أَوْ أَنْ يَطْغَىٰ
Rabbana innana nakhafu any-yafruta 'alayna aw any-yatgha
Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress.
Rabbana 30 (Surah Al-Mu'minun - 109)
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Rabbana amanna faghfir lana warhamna wa anta khayrur-rahimeen
Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.
Rabbana 31 (Surah Al-Furqan - 65,66)
رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا إِنَّهَا سَآءَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا
65. Rabbanas rif ‘annnaa ‘azaaba Jahannama inn ‘azaabahaa kaana gharaamaa 66. Innahaa saaa’at mustaqarranw wa muqaamaa
Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering; Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence.
Rabbana 32 (Surah Al-Furqan - 74)
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wa dhurriyyatina qurrata a'yunin waj'alna lil-muttaqeena imama
Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us a leader [i.e., example] for the righteous.
Rabbana 33 (Surah Fatir - 34)
رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ
Rabbana la Ghafurun shakur
Our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative
Rabbana 34 (Surah Ghafir - 7)
رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ
Rabbana wasi'ta kulla shay'ir-rahmatan wa 'ilman faghfir lilladheena tabu wattaba'u sabeelaka waqihim 'adhabal-jaheem
Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire.
Rabbana 35 (Surah Ghafir - 8,9)
رَبَّنَا وَأَدۡخِلۡهُمۡ جَنَّـٰتِ عَدۡنٍ ٱلَّتِي وَعَدتَّهُمۡ وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنۡ ءَابَآئِهِمۡ وَأَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ وَذُرِّيَّـٰتِهِمۡۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ وَقِهِمُ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِۚ وَمَن تَقِ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ يَوۡمَئِذٖ فَقَدۡ رَحِمۡتَهُۥۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
8. Rabbana wa adhkhilhum Jannati ‘adninil-lati wa’attahum wa man salaha min aba’ihim wa azwajihim wa dhuriyyatihim innaka antal ‘Azizul-Hakim, 9. waqihimus saiyi’at wa man taqis-saiyi’ati yawma’idhin faqad rahimatahu wa dhalika huwal fawzul-‘Adheem
Our Lord, and admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their forefathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. And protect them from the evil consequences [of their deeds]. And he whom You protect from evil consequences that Day – You will have given him mercy. And that is the great attainment.
Rabbana 36 (Surah Al-Hashr - 10)
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِينَ اٰمَنُوا
Rabbanagh-fir lana wali-ikhwaninal-ladheena sabaquna bil-imani wala taj'al fee qulubina ghillal-lilladheena amanu
Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed.
Rabbana 37 (Surah Al-Hashr - 10)
رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٞ رَّحِيمٌ
Rabbana innaka Ra'ufur-Raheem
Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.
Rabbana 38 (Surah Al-Mumtahanah - 4)
رَبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
Rabbana 'alayka tawakkalna wa ilayka anabna wa ilaykal-maseer
Our Lord, upon You we have relied, and to You we have returned, and to You is the goal.
Rabbana 39 (Surah Al-Mumtahanah - 5)
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا رَبَّنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Rabbana la taj'alna fitnatal-lilladheena kafaru waghfir lana Rabbana innaka antal 'Azeezul Hakeem
Our Lord! Make us not a (test and) trial for the Unbelievers, but forgive us, our Lord! Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise..
Rabbana 40 (Surah At-Tahrim - 8)
رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Rabbana atmim lana nurana waghfir lana innaka 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer
Our Lord! Perfect our Light for us, and grant us Forgiveness: Indeed, You are over all things competent.
"Allah hears the whisper of a broken heart."
